  We booked this B&B off the internet from viewing the photos this was not what we were greeted with. We arrived to a closed gate with a Beware of the Dog sign, chook poo all over the paved car park area The main entrance was over crowded with dead plants and a large bird cage more bird poo. Inside there were more bird cages that attracted far too many flies, which made eating breakfast an annoying experience (a fly landed in my coffee) I am sorry to say this was a most unpleasant experience. Are there people out there that inspect B&B before they are registered?

Welcome to Alexias Countrystay, homestay accommodation in Taupiri, Waikato. If youre after a peaceful time away then come to us.

Set on 1 1/4 acre is our spacious new house only 300m from SH1B, 15 min north of Hamilton with 4km to Taupiri or Golf course. Ideally situated if you are attending functions at "Woodlands", "Willow Glen" or other Gordonton venues.

Your hosts, Alexia and Harry, have many years of experience with home hosting having previously operated Hamilton East Homestay.

We offer 3 rooms, for guest accommodation. The first is a queen room with rural views and its own external access. The other 2 are twin rooms. The combination of these rooms gives flexibility and enables us to accommodate small families or groups. This guest area is completely separate and has guest-only bathroom with separate toilet.

Alexias Countrystay is 1 hour from Auckland Central or International Airport.

We are surrounded by dairyfarms and a beautiful country view of the Taupiri mountains.

Alexias Countrystay - singles

2 guest rooms, which have a guest-only bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. One room features a queen-size bed and guests have their own external access available. Second room contains a king-single bed and a conventional single bed.

Home built 2005 on a 1 acre, quiet rural setting. Only 300m from SH1B, 8 km north of Gordonton, 4kms from the Taupiri turnoff onto SH1B and only 15 mins away from the V8 race in Frankton and the city.

With this range of accommodation we can cater for families or groups.

If you are attending a function at oeWoodlands or other Gordonton venues we are ideally located as there is no need to go back to the city.
